Route 6 cleared and re-opened in Orange County

Woodbury, NY – The New York State Police have reported Route 6 in Woodbury has reopened after multiple reported vehicle strandings during today’s snow storm.

At 1:05 pm, the road reopened after being cleared by the NY DOT.

Earlier reported:

“State Route 6 in the town of Woodbury/Orange County is currently closed in both directions due to multiple vehicle crashes and disabled vehicles. Traffic is currently being diverted at the Long Mountain Traffic circle and State Route 17. Exit 130A is also closed. Troopers, Department of Transportation and tows are operating on scene. Please avoid the area,” the New York State Police announced this morning.
