LOCK HAVEN, PA – Roger Lee Lucas, 41, a resident of Julian, was recently handed a sentence of 30 months to 10 years in state prison by President Judge Craig Miller on charges of Strangulation, a second-degree felony.

Lucas’s arrest came after his victim reported multiple instances of physical assaults that occurred over several months in 2021. The incidents were reported to have taken place at a residence in Loganton, Logan Township, Clinton County.

During the investigation, Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Cody GEYER conducted an interview with Lucas about the assaults. Lucas admitted to “grabbing her (victim) throat and choking her causing her to pass out.”

Lucas has a criminal history, including multiple arrests and convictions for Protection From Abuse violations involving the same victim. The sentence handed down by Judge Miller reflects the severity of the crimes committed and the ongoing threat Lucas posed to the victim.
