Suspects wanted for multiple NYC subway robberies and assaults

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating several individuals connected to a series of robberies in the 71 Precinct/Transit District 32 and the 84 Precinct/Transit District 30.

The first incident took place on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, around 2:30 pm in the 84 Precinct. An 11-year-old male victim was on the southbound ‘2’ train platform at the Borough Hall Train Station when an unidentified male grabbed his cellphone and fled.

In the second incident, reported on Thursday, May 4, 2023, around 1:00 am in the 71 Precinct, a 40-year-old male was on the southbound ‘2’ train nearing the President Street Station when four unknown males approached him. They assaulted him, stole his cellphone, and remained on the train as it continued south. The victim, who suffered minor injuries, was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County.
