Store Employee Attacked by Shoplifting Suspect

COLUMBUS, OH – A store employee on N. Hamilton Rd was assaulted by a female shoplifting suspect on March 19.

The Columbus Police Property Crimes Bureau is currently looking for the woman, who repeatedly punched the employee in the face before leaving the store with stolen items.

The Columbus Police encourage anyone with information on the suspect to contact Det. Beard at (614) 645-2091 or bbeard@columbuspolice.org. Tips can also be shared with Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at (614) 461-TIPS.
