D.C. Shooting Injures 15-Year-Old

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 15-year-old boy was the victim of a shooting in Northwest D.C. on Sunday, as reported by local authorities. The incident took place on the 200 block of V Street in Northwest, D.C., around 3:14 p.m., according to the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department.

The teen was injured following the discharge of several shots. Despite his injuries, he was conscious and breathing at the scene and was promptly taken to a hospital. His injuries are currently not considered life-threatening.

The police are actively searching for a burgundy Dodge Durango with a Maryland registration in connection with the shooting. The details and motives of the incident remain unclear.
