NYPD Investigating After Brooklyn Man Shot and Killed on Manhattan Bound Subway Train

BROOKLYN, NY — Police responded to a shooting at the Franklin Avenue subway station on Sunday, January 14, at 8:15 PM. A 34-year-old male suffered multiple gunshot wounds aboard a Manhattan-bound “3” train. Emergency services transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Kings County, where he was pronounced dead.

Richard Henderson, a 45-year-old resident of 1448 Sterling Place, Brooklyn, NY, was identified as the deceased.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
