A Menendez Resignation Won’t Turn the Tide for Republicans in New Jersey

He faced trial but the jury was unable to reach a verdict, leading to a mistrial. Later, most charges were dropped, but the situation left a stain on his reputation. Despite this, Menendez was re-elected in 2018, indicating the stronghold Democrats have in New Jersey politics.

Why Republicans Might Not Benefit
