Washington, DC — A white Ford Transit van was taken at gunpoint late Tuesday night in Northeast as police issued an urgent alert for two suspects who fled the scene following the carjacking.

The incident was reported around 11:43 p.m. in the 1100 block of H Street NE within the First District. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, two male suspects approached during the incident, with one reportedly armed with a handgun.

Police said one suspect was wearing a gray ski mask, while the second suspect was not masked. The stolen vehicle is described as a white Ford Transit 250 van with unknown tags.

No injuries were reported, and no further details about the direction of flight or suspect descriptions have been released.
