Armed Robber Forced Female Worker to Fill Green Sack with Merchandise

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance in locating an individual involved in a commercial robbery.

On Friday, July 7, at approximately 4:27 PM, an unidentified male entered a Snipes apparel and streetwear store at 66 East Burnside. The suspect allegedly displayed a handgun to a 31-year-old female employee and ordered her to fill a green laundry bag with merchandise. The suspect reportedly fled with approximately $2,000 worth of goods, escaping on foot towards the 4 train at the Burnside Avenue train station. There were no reported injuries.

The individual being sought is a male, approximately 5’11” tall, with a dark complexion and a thin build. He was last seen in a white tank top, blue jeans, and gold and black sneakers, carrying the green laundry bag.
