NEW YORK, NY – A CNN article reporting the arraignment of President Donald J. Trump in Manhattan on Tuesday made it appear that the former President was handcuffed with his head down. The photo was pulled from an aerial video source of Trump walking from his motorcade, into the courthouse in New York City.
For a split second, Trump did look down to adjust his sleeves and his hands touched for less than a fraction of a second and that frame was blurred and pixelated to appear that Trump was in handcuffs.
Trump was never handcuffed during the arraignment. He didn’t even have a mug shot taken when arriving to the media circus in Manhattan on Tuesday.
After the arraignment, Trump departed the courthouse en route back to his mansion in West Palm Beach.
