CUMBERLAND, MD – The Cumberland City Police Department has made two separate arrests on outstanding warrants, highlighting their ongoing efforts to enforce court orders and parole conditions. On Tuesday, February 20, Corbit Harry Arrowood Jr., 49, of Cumberland, was apprehended for failing to appear in court on a previous trespassing charge. The arrest was based on a Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on February 15.

Arrowood’s failure to appear in court led to his arrest and subsequent remand to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held on a $500 bond. The seriousness of adhering to court schedules is underscored by this case, emphasizing the consequences of neglecting legal responsibilities.

Additionally, on the same day, Antonio Fagan Jr., 36, also of Cumberland, was arrested for violating his parole conditions. The Maryland Parole Commission issued a Parole Retake Warrant against Fagan, leading to his immediate arrest and detention. Unlike Arrowood, Fagan is being held without bond, indicating the severity of parole violations and the strict enforcement measures taken by local authorities.
