D.C. business hit by robbery suspect captured on video

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for a suspect in a recent robbery of a business in Northwest Washington. The incident took place on October 29 at approximately 6:42 p.m., when the suspect entered an establishment on the Unit block of Peabody Street, Northwest, stole property, and fled the scene.

Surveillance cameras captured images and video footage of the suspect, which police have released in hopes of identifying the individual. A video clip of the suspect can be viewed at: https://youtu.be/s2OF9aXEUKo.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to come forward. Tips can be provided by calling (202) 727-9099 or texting the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.
