D.C. police hunt for suspects in brazen robbery on 19th Street

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for suspects involved in a violent robbery in Northwest D.C. last month and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible.

The incident occurred on October 9 at approximately 6:42 p.m. in the 1300 block of 19th Street, Northwest. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the suspects approached a victim, assaulted them, and stole their belongings before fleeing the scene.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects, which police have released in a video. Authorities are hopeful that someone will recognize the individuals in the footage.

Anyone who has information about the suspects’ identities is urged to contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or text the MPD’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
