President Donald J. Trump's former campaign manager signals possible leaning toward Hirsh Singh for New Jersey Governor in Twitter battle with blue state blogger.

A Twitter fight erupted today between the former campaign manager of President Donald J. Trump, Brad Parscale and New Jersey GOP establishment blogger Matt Rooney.

Rooney, criticized a poll that now appears to have Parscale’s fingerprints all over it now.

Rooney, a New Jersey blue state Republican who once called for Trump supporters to be thrown over the U.S.-Mexico border wall has been shilling for Jack Ciattarelli, a fellow never Trumper who once called the former president a charlatan.

In a poll conducted this week, reported by the Daily Caller, Hirsh Singh lead the 2021 election race with 22% of the vote, beating out Ciattarelli (19%), Phil Murphy (11%) and Phil Rizzo (10%). The Daily Caller confirmed the poll was conducted by Parscale.

“This poll shows the race is down to two choices — myself, or never-Trump RINO Jack Ciattarelli,” Singh told the Daily Caller. “I am proud to be the only pro-Trump, America-First leader, while Jack Ciattarelli trashes Trump and his supporters.”

Rooney responded to the Daily Caller story, saying, “If I had a dollar for every internal poll that ended up being bs? I could retire. Yesterday. In my mid 30s.”

Rooney operates the blog “Save Jersey” a Republican establishment blog that chronicles the perennial defeats of the New Jersey Republican party year after year with the promise of “We’ll get them next time” each time.

The man who helped put Trump in the White House in 2016 fired back.

“Ha! Keep thinking this is bs. See the slide attached. @HirshSingh is the real deal. If he keeps increases fundraising and pushing his message and, he will win,” Parscale said.

The statement was not exactly an endorsement for Hirsh, but it is a good sign for the anti-establishment conservative as he runs off the line statewide. A Trump endorsement could be all Singh needs to win off the line this year.

Singh declined comment on the Parscale vs. Rooney twitter fight. Parscale appears to once again be working within the Trump organization’s road back to the White House.

“President Trump’s Former Campaign Manager Brad Parscale just said I’m the real deal and we have a clear path to victory,” Singh said. “But we need your help, so please donate now to help us win on June 8th and defeat Never-Trumper Jack Ciattarelli and Tyrannical Governor Phil Murphy.”

Singh told the Daily Caller, “We collected complete survey results from over 1,200 respondents, sampled to be representative of the demographics of the New Jersey likely Gubernatorial GOP Primary voter population. After collection, responses were weighted in accordance with the New Jersey likely GOP Primary voter population to ensure that the results and conclusions drawn are reflective of this group. Respondent quality is ensured with attention screening mechanisms throughout the survey.”
