NEW YORK CITY— On Thursday, June 27, at approximately 11:15 a.m., a 79-year-old female was attacked near Park Avenue and East 24th Street in the 13th Precinct.
The assailant approached the victim and sprayed an unknown liquid on her face before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim received treatment at a nearby City MD urgent care facility and is in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a male of medium build with a light complexion, last seen wearing all dark clothing. Police are investigating the incident and seeking any information related to the suspect.
