$135K winning lottery ticket sold at Giant Eagle in Allegheny County

WEST MIFFLIN, PA – A Pennsylvania Lottery Fast Play ticket worth more than $135,000 was sold at a Giant Eagle in Allegheny County this week, marking one of the largest recent top prize wins for the Jungle Jackpot game.

The ticket, worth exactly $135,461, was sold on Monday at the Giant Eagle located at 9901 Mountainview Drive in West Mifflin Borough. The store will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced on Tuesday.

Jungle Jackpot is a $5 Fast Play game featuring a progressive top prize that starts at $50,000 and grows with each ticket sold until someone wins. Unlike traditional draw-based games, Fast Play tickets are printed instantly at sales terminals or self-service machines and do not require scratching or waiting for a drawing.

The winning ticket has not yet been claimed. Under Pennsylvania Lottery rules, all Fast Play prizes must be claimed within one year of the purchase date. The winner must sign the back of the ticket and contact the Lottery to begin the validation and prize claim process. Prizes over $5,000 are subject to standard tax withholding.

To check winnings, players can review their ticket visually or use the Ticket Checker feature available at retailers and through the Lottery’s official app.
