ANNAPOLIS, MD – A significant breakthrough recently came after a month-long narcotics investigation by the Southern District detectives.
Assisted by the Quick Response Team, a search warrant was executed in the unit block of W Washington Street in Annapolis.
During the search, detectives recovered two handguns, ammunition, and a considerable amount of suspected illegal substances.
The contraband included approximately 17g of suspected cocaine, 34 pills of suspected Xanax, and around 65g of suspected Phencyclidine. Cash amounting to $110,471 was also found on the premises.
The primary subject of the investigation, Devonte Wiggins, a 29-year-old resident of Annapolis, Maryland, was arrested and charged accordingly.
