Trenton, NJ – A lucky Hudson County player is celebrating after winning $84,565 on a Quick Draw Progressive ticket purchased in Weehawken, lottery officials announced Monday.
The winning ticket, which hit for 10 percent of the progressive jackpot, was sold Saturday at Noble Discount Liquors, located at 4702 Park Avenue. The ticket matched nine numbers during the drawing, securing the payout.
Quick Draw Progressive is a rolling jackpot game available to players at no additional cost. Each ticket automatically generates nine jackpot numbers ranging from 01 to 80. If all nine are selected during an eligible drawing, the ticket wins a portion of the jackpot based on the wager amount. A $1 play wins 10 percent, $2 wins 20 percent, and tickets with $10 or more wagers qualify for 100 percent of the jackpot.
The $84,565 win comes from a $1 per draw ticket. Lottery officials said the progressive feature continues to grow with every game until it is hit.
