Fatal shooting shakes Cold Spring Lane neighborhood
Baltimore, MD — A late-night shooting on a North Baltimore roadway left a 56-year-old man dead after he was found suffering from gunshot wounds and later died at a hospital.
The incident occurred around 11:39 p.m. Thursday in the 2800 block of West Cold Spring Lane. Northern District patrol officers responded to reports of gunfire and located the victim at the scene.
Medics transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police have not released the victim’s identity, and no suspect information has been made available as the investigation continues.
Homicide detectives are working to determine what led to the shooting and are asking for the public’s assistance.
