BROOKLYN, NY – A 48-year-old man was pronounced dead following an incident at the Kosciuszko Street Station on Saturday night. Police responded to a 911 call around 10:19 p.m. at the station located within the 81 Precinct/Transit District 33. Upon arrival, officers found Manuel Flores conscious but lying on the floor of the northbound “J” platform.
Emergency Medical Services were promptly called to the scene and transported Flores to NYC Health and Hospitals/Woodhull. He was in stable condition upon arrival but was later pronounced deceased on Sunday.
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner has officially ruled the death a homicide as of Wednesday. Flores lived Brooklyn. Further details about the investigation have not been disclosed at this time.
