Baltimore, MD — A late-night hospital visit led police to a shooting scene in Southwest Baltimore after a man arrived with gunshot wounds, triggering an active investigation.

Officers responded around 10:46 p.m. Wednesday to a local hospital for a reported walk-in shooting victim. Upon arrival, they located a 24-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot injuries.

Preliminary findings indicate the victim was shot in the 2000 block of West Pratt Street, where officers later located a crime scene.

The victim’s condition has not been disclosed.

Detectives from the Southwest District are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No suspect information has been released.
