West Orange, NJ – A New Jersey Assembly candidate is facing an unusual campaign twist after his lawn signs rolled in with a glaring typo that could leave voters thinking he’s waging war on weeds rather than crime.
Adam Kraemer, who is running for the State Legislature, shared a photo on Facebook showing a fresh box of signs reading: “Lower Taxes, Limited Gov’t, Lawn & Order for NJ.”
Kraemer explained that the printing mix-up came from his campaign manager, a recent college graduate. Instead of promoting him as a “Law and Order” candidate, the signs mistakenly turned his message into a battle cry for well-kept grass.
The candidate joked online that he now faces a choice: order a new batch of corrected signs or pivot his campaign strategy toward tackling the state’s crabgrass and weed problems.
