POCONO MANOR, PA – Basdeo Rampersad of Rosedale, New York, was arrested on Friday, following a physical domestic incident at The Carriage House in Pocono Manor. Officers of the Pocono Township Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 4:20 am.
Through their investigation, it was determined that Rampersad had physically assaulted a female victim while visibly intoxicated. Rampersad admitted to drinking throughout the night.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. Charges against Rampersad include one count of simple assault, one count of harassment, and one count of public drunkenness.
