Fatal Shooting in the Bronx Under Investigation
BRONX, NY – A 26-year-old man was fatally shot early Monday morning at 1102 Longfellow Avenue in the 41st Precinct of the Bronx. Police responded to a 911 call reporting the incident at approximately 3:18 AM.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to the torso. EMS quickly transported him to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the deceased has not been released, pending notification of his family.
