PERTH AMBOY, NJ – Chief Edward A. Mullen received the 2023 Fire Chief of the Year Award at the annual meeting of the NJ State Fire Chiefs Association during the NJ State Firefighters Convention.
The award, sponsored by the NJ Deputy & Battalion Chiefs Association, was presented to Chief Mullen by President Charles Lind and Mullen’s father, Edward R. Mullen.
The recognition honors Chief Mullen’s dedication and service to the community. Further details about the criteria for the award and other honorees were not immediately available.
