PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place Saturday morning at around 10:39 a.m. Officers responded to two shot spotter alerts got registered at the 200 block of Wilbur Street.
Upon their arrival, police found an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Responding officers provided medical assistance until Pittsburgh EMS units arrived on scene. The victim was transported to the hospital and is listed in critical but stable condition.
Investigators with the Pittsburgh Police Department said the victim was in a vehicle with one other person at the time of the shooting. The other person ran to a nearby home, and took cover during the shooting. They were not injured.
