Police Arrest Gunman After Shots Fired Near Jersey Shore Area Motel Corridor

ABSECON, NJ — On Thursday night, shortly before 10:30 PM, Absecon Police Department officers were dispatched to a motel corridor along US Route 30 following reports of gunshots. At the scene, they discovered signs of gunfire.

The police launched a detailed search for potential victims and examined area surveillance footage, which led to the rapid identification and capture of the suspect. Desmon A. Wilson, a 23-year-old from Mays Landing, was taken into custody and faces charges related to weapons offenses.
