Jersey City, NJ – The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Jersey City Police Department have begun an investigation following the death of an individual in the vicinity of Pearsall Avenue and Garfield Avenue. More details on the incident are expected to be released.
Police responded to reports of shots fired on Pearsall Avenue and Garfield Avenue around 10 p.m. and found Resheed Wallace, 24, with a gunshot wound. Wallace was later pronounced dead at Jersey City Medical Center.
Authorities are actively investigating the incident, which has not resulted in any arrests thus far. The investigation is ongoing, with the Cause and Manner of Death awaiting confirmation from the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
