WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred shortly before 2 p.m. on Monday in the 500 block of 12th Street, Southeast.
The suspect, described as an adult Black male dressed entirely in black, was armed with a handgun during the robbery. He was last seen fleeing westbound on a red bike towards E Street, Southeast, according to authorities. The suspect was wearing black clothing, a black face mask, a black hat, and carried a black backpack.
No further information about the incident has been released at this time.
