Chesapeake, VA – The Chesapeake Police Department is investigating a shooting involving one person. The event took place on Monday at approximately 7:39 p.m.
Officers responded to the 1600 block of Atlantic Ave after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located an adult male who had sustained a gunshot wound. The injured individual was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
