SPRINGFIELD, OH – A man suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm was discovered by Springfield Police Department and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office near the intersection of East National Road and North Bird Road, on Monday night. According to a Springfield Police lieutenant, the incident occurred on the 2500 block of East Main Street.
The victim transported himself to the intersection where he called 911. He was later airlifted to an Ohio State University hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. No suspect is currently in custody, and the Springfield Police Department is leading the investigation.
