Two Injured In D.C. Shooting

Washington, DC – A shooting incident in Northeast D.C. is currently under investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department. The event, which occurred just after 5 p.m. near the intersection of First and M Street on Wednesday evening, resulted in two men being hospitalized.

Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered one man who had been shot. He was conscious and breathing at the time and was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Shortly after that, a second man, also connected to the shooting, sought treatment at a local medical center.

The police have not released any information regarding the suspects involved in the incident. The circumstances leading up to the shooting and the motive behind it remain unclear.
