Lucky tickets sold miles apart in Queens Village and Woodhaven matched all five numbers in the same drawing
QUEENS, N.Y. — Two New York Lottery players are holding winning TAKE 5 tickets after matching all five numbers in the June 13 Evening drawing, splitting the top prize and turning routine purchases into unexpected paydays.
The New York Lottery announced that two top-prize-winning tickets were sold for the drawing, with each ticket worth $16,067.
One winning ticket was sold at Speedway #07832, located at 219-28 Hillside Ave. in Queens Village.
The second winning ticket was purchased at 91 Avenue Family Food Corp., located at 89-50 92nd St. in Woodhaven.
Lottery officials did not release information about the winners, and the prizes remain unclaimed.
TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily in New York, with drawings televised at approximately 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Players select numbers from a field of one through 39, and prizes are awarded based on the number of matching selections.
Winning draw game tickets may be claimed for up to one year from the drawing date.
The New York Lottery reported contributing $3.6 billion to public education across the state during fiscal year 2024-2025.
