WESTFIELD, NJ – Authorities are appealing to the public for information about a hit and run incident that occurred on the morning of March 7. At approximately 7:20 a.m., a burgundy or red Jeep Grand Cherokee collided with a parked Acura MDX on Westfield Avenue, near Shackamaxon Drive.
The collision appeared to happen as the Jeep Grand Cherokee was exiting Shackamaxon Drive, making a left turn onto Westfield Avenue, before losing control and striking the Acura. Investigators are urging anyone with information about the incident or the suspect vehicle to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
