MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – A woman has died following a traffic collision that took place on Thursday. The incident occurred at approximately 9:31 pm on Beallsville Rd., prior to Jerusalem Rd.
Police officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the scene of the collision.
According to the initial findings by the Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU), the driver, the sole occupant of a black 2002 Hyundai Elantra, was traveling southbound on Beallsville Rd. when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld until next of kin have been notified.
