Woodbridge, Va. – A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a domestic assault that occurred in Woodbridge last week. The suspect, identified as Angel Rivera, was taken into custody on August 21 following an investigation by local authorities.
The incident took place on August 15 at approximately 12:35 p.m. at a residence located in the 2900 block of Williamsburg Ct. According to police reports, Rivera and the victim, a 25-year-old woman, were involved in a verbal altercation that quickly escalated. During the confrontation, Rivera allegedly grabbed the victim by the neck, causing her to temporarily lose consciousness.
