A deadly burst of gunfire on West Cold Spring Lane left one man dead while two others sought treatment at a hospital, police said
BALTIMORE, Md. — A 20-year-old man was killed and two other men were wounded after gunfire erupted in North Baltimore on Sunday afternoon, triggering a homicide investigation.
Baltimore Police said Northern District officers responded at approximately 2:42 p.m. to the 2700 block of West Cold Spring Lane for reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a 20-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police and medics rendered aid at the scene, but the victim was pronounced dead.
While officers were investigating, police received a report that two additional shooting victims had arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment.
Responding officers found an 18-year-old man and a 32-year-old man being treated for gunshot wounds.
Police said both surviving victims suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Investigators have not released the identity of the deceased victim pending notification of family members.
No arrests have been announced.
