WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man was fatally shot in NorthwestD.C. early Christmas morning. The D.C. Metro Police Department’s Homicide Branch is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.

Just after 8:30 a.m., officers were called to the 1200 block of Longfellow Street. The call reported a man lying on the ground. Upon arrival, the officers discovered a 32-year-old man, later identified as Torrell O’Neal Page, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, Page succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The Metropolitan Police Department is actively seeking information from the public to aid in their investigation. They encourage anyone with knowledge about the incident to come forward.
