Man wounded in Baltimore shooting on Garrett Avenue as detectives seek tips

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 58-year-old man was shot Saturday night in Baltimore’s Eastern District, leaving him hospitalized and prompting an ongoing investigation.

The shooting happened around 9:13 p.m. on March 14 in the 2400 block of Garrett Avenue.

Responding officers found the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics transported the man to a nearby hospital, where his injuries were reported to be non-life-threatening.

Detectives are working to determine what led to the shooting and are asking for the public’s help in identifying those involved.
