ST. JOHNS, MI – Shawna Foerster, a 40-year-old local resident, won $197,296 in a Club Keno The Jack game, thanks to advice from her co-worker named Jack. Foerster matched her easy pick numbers with eight of the 20 Club Keno numbers in draw 2238942.
The winning ticket was purchased at Bruno’s Bar, located at 226 North Clinton Avenue. Foerster was preparing to start her shift when she decided to play Club Keno with the $10 she had in her pocket. Jack, her co-worker, suggested she add The Jack feature to her ticket.
Later in her shift, Foerster checked her ticket, initially thinking she had won around $1,000. It was only after she scanned her ticket using the Lottery app that she discovered the actual prize amount. Foerster plans to use her winnings to pay for her daughter’s college education and save the remainder.
Foerster expressed her gratitude for the win, stating it would serve as a financial cushion for her family and lessen their worries about savings.
