Worker Assaulted and Robbed on Nelson Avenue

NEW YORK — A 31-year-old male was assaulted and robbed during a dispute at his workplace on Nelson Avenue. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m., when an unidentified assailant engaged in a verbal altercation with the victim.

The confrontation escalated quickly, with the assailant striking the victim multiple times in the face, causing a laceration to the forehead and a bloody nose. In a bold move, the attacker then reached across the counter, stole approximately $300 from the register, and fled the scene heading southbound on Nelson Avenue.

The victim, who suffered minor injuries, declined medical treatment. Authorities are currently searching for the suspect, described as a male with a dark complexion, wearing a dark jacket, dark jeans, and multicolored sneakers.
