BALTIMORE, MD – A man was pronounced dead following a shooting incident in the Southern District early this morning, prompting a homicide investigation by local authorities.
Patrol officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Spellman Road at approximately 7:57 a.m. on April 11, 2024, after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male victim with a gunshot wound.
Emergency medical technicians immediately administered CPR to the victim at the scene. However, despite their efforts, the victim was later declared dead.
