Armed robbery suspects flee in luxury car after daylight heist on Military Road

WASHINGTON, DC – A midday robbery rocked the quiet neighborhood along Military Road NW on Saturday as two masked men—one armed with a handgun—fled the scene in a luxury vehicle, triggering a police search across the area.

Witnesses described the men as Black males wearing all-black clothing, with one of them brandishing a firearm.

The pair reportedly jumped into a two-door BMW or Mercedes-Benz with an unknown license plate and sped off along Military Road. The make and model of the vehicle remain unconfirmed, and police are working to obtain surveillance footage from the area.

As of Saturday afternoon, no arrests had been made, and police had not released details about the victim or what was taken during the robbery. No injuries were reported.
