BRONX, N.Y. – A food delivery worker was robbed at gunpoint early Thursday while making a delivery outside a building on Exterior Street in the Bronx, according to police.
The 24-year-old victim was making a delivery in front of 530 Exterior Street at about 1:58 a.m. when an unidentified man approached him.
Police said the suspect displayed a firearm tucked into his waistband and took the food the worker was carrying.
Delivery Worker Confronted During Early-Morning Stop
The NYPD did not report that the suspect fired the weapon or physically injured the delivery worker.
Investigators also have not said how much food was stolen or whether the suspect demanded any other property from the victim.
After the robbery, police issued a public appeal seeking help identifying the man. Images of the wanted suspect were released through NYPD Crime Stoppers.
No arrest had been announced in the department’s latest alert.

Detectives are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the Exterior Street robbery to contact investigators.
