LAUREL, Md. — Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of an adult male found early Tuesday morning in a residential area of Laurel, according to the Laurel Police Department.

Officers responded to the 1000 block of Marton Street at 4:18 a.m., where they discovered the victim. The man’s identity has not been released, and the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.

The department stated that the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause and manner of death.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and no further details have been confirmed. It is not yet known whether foul play is suspected.

In a statement, police said, “As more information is confirmed it will be released to the public.”
