GWYNN OAK, Md. – Baltimore County detectives are investigating a Saturday afternoon shooting that left a 46-year-old man wounded in Gwynn Oak.
Officers from the Pikesville Precinct were called to the unit block of King James Circle at about 3:30 p.m. for a reported shooting. They found the man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, according to Baltimore County Police.
The victim was taken to an area hospital. Police said his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Detectives Have Released Few Details About Gwynn Oak Shooting
Police have not said what led to the gunfire or whether investigators have identified a suspect.
No arrest was announced in Sunday’s update, and authorities did not release a description of anyone being sought in connection with the shooting.
Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit are handling the investigation.
