NEW YORK, NY – Police officers in Queens arrested one of their own on Monday after they made a traffic stop against a fellow officer, suspected of driving while intoxicated.
At approximately 5:40 p.m., Kevin Nunnally, a 27-year-old male employed by the New York City Police Department, was arrested and charged by officers of the 109 Precinct.
Nunnally, who was off-duty at the time was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol.
The arrest came after law enforcement officials observed Nunnally engaging in actions that led them to suspect he was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
He was taken into custody and formally charged with the aforementioned offenses.
