Max Meadows woman wins $594K online Lottery jackpot

MAX MEADOWS, VA — Frankye Reavis, a resident of Max Meadows, won a $594,571 jackpot playing the Virginia Lottery’s Castle of Crystals online instant game on her phone.

Castle of Crystals, available on the Virginia Lottery app and website, features a growing jackpot as more people play and offers odds of winning any prize at 1 in 3.99. Reavis became the latest big winner in the game, which is among dozens of online options for Virginia Lottery players.

Reavis, who resides in Wythe County, contributes to a tradition of Lottery winners helping fund education in Virginia. Last fiscal year, Wythe County received more than $3.9 million in Lottery profits for K-12 education. Statewide, the Virginia Lottery raised over $934 million for education in Fiscal Year 2024, accounting for approximately 10% of the Commonwealth’s public school budget.

Virginia Lottery players can purchase tickets for Powerball, Mega Millions, and other draw games online, as well as enjoy instant games like Castle of Crystals. Participants must be 18 or older and located within Virginia.

The Virginia Lottery reminds players to enjoy gaming responsibly while supporting education in the state.
