“To say Governor Murphy’s public response was disappointing is an understatement,” said Sen. Corrado. “The number of roads that are closed due to this historic flooding have doubled since yesterday and the water simply has nowhere to go. North Jersey residents and local officials are calling on Governor Murphy to declare a State of Emergency for their flooded areas. The Murphy administration has been radio silent during this devastating time and our residents and local municipalities deserve better from our state government.”
