GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Authorities are searching for a driver and passenger who fled the scene of a hit-and-run crash that caused significant damage to a retaining wall and an electrical pole on Evesham Road.

The incident occurred early Friday, November 22, when a white Nissan Pathfinder traveling westbound on Evesham Road attempted a left turn onto Woodland Avenue, striking the structures and leaving debris scattered in the area. Witnesses reported heavy front-end damage to the vehicle, with airbags deployed.

According to police, a witness spoke with the vehicle’s female driver and male passenger, who claimed they would report the crash but instead cleared most of the debris and left the scene. Photos taken by the witness confirmed the vehicle’s make and model.
